Hi there everyone who happens to read this post,
It´s been a while, again, but time keeps on slipping by so fast!
At this point we are still having gorgeous weather and it´s still summer, but you can feel change is coming. It´s not to long now and I will have to give up on my favorite summer shoes and wearing shorts would become a bit ridiculous… I started seeing the first Christmas pins on Pinterest and on other sites the word " decorations" is mentioned more and more. I even saw a text on my Facebook page that said. 15 saturdays until Christmas! WHAT???!!!
Makes you think does it….. As you might know, or not, I´m not really a Christmas person. So it makes me a bit sad that summer is at his last end.
But my garden has done me proud, as soon as we closed every corner we have the mountain goats have stayed out and everything finally had a chance to grow and flower.
Pretty much every picture you see up here is from the garden, that includes the strawberry! Yah! I got 3 times a bunch of strawberries from 2 little plants. But next year I will make sure I plant more now that they have a chance. Who knows there may even be mango´s and raspberries to be harvested!
Although I had/have a great summer, there are a lot of things I did not do that I had planned but somehow everything went the way it went and I´m OK with that.
Thank you all for your support during the meltdown of my Mac! I was pretty scared that every would be lost and it need to be send to Madrid or something for repair….but my superhero of a husband, who happened to HATE Mac, has fixed the problem. We are still not sure what the problem was but we emptied the hard disk and started all over again with new updated software. And all is working fine at the moment.
I think I have everything saved except for my Google reader and a few blogs that I saved in there, that I can´t remember the exact name of. There were some moments of feeling powerless and desperate, not to mention irritated!
I mean do you have a backup system for your passwords that you use for all these newsletters etc. for example?? If you´d knew personally me, you would already be laughing right now and know that these things are not among my strong points… I like to keep things simple but over time things tend to become complex or I just do not remember, so lesson learned, again.
I cleaned up lots of stuff and finding that I have more time to look at the blogs and sites that I want. Especially cleaned up all the newsletters in my mailbox! So liberating! Frees up so much time to really see and read a few really interesting and fun ones.
For those of you with a Mac, my top site page is completely empty except for a handful of blogs, and I fully intend to keep it simple this time. That and an external back up!
All I really need now is new Reader, so if you have any tips, I love to hear about them. I loved the Google Reader! I want it back! I miss it! I want to see your new posts in my mailbox as you post them!
The pictures that are in the collage were taken this past week or so and are a mix of the pictures for the Photo A day project, the garden and a few day trips to the mountains and Malaga as it turns out it have been a pink, green and beige couple of days. That means absolutely nothing what so ever…. it just seemed like a good title for this post.
Thank you all for reading and following!
